The Sloane Stanley medal and exhibition

2022 will be the fifth year, the Sloane Stanley Exhibition – for Members of Chelsea Art Society only – is  a much anticipated fixture in the Chelsea calendar. Sponsored by Sloane Stanley and taking place in their well-known pop-up shop at 340 Kings Road, the theme for this year’s show has been chosen to be in early 2022.

Unfortunately due to the terrible situation caused by the Coronavirus outbreak  Chelsea Art Society has had to postpone some of its activities during the last 2 years.  It is not yet known whether the Sloane Stanley Exhibition 2022 will take place  but we have been lucky to hold it in both 2020 and 2021.  Details will follow in due course.  Please do check this website for updates.

The provisional dates are 3 – 9 October, 2022, and once again the William Sloane Medal and cheque worth £1000 will be awarded to the best work in the exhibition.

The previous winners are Luke Martineau 2021, Patricia Barker 2020 ,Amanda Coleman 2019, Alice Boggis-Rolfe in 2018.
