A long career as a picture editor and photographer has lead Sarah more or less seamlessly to painting. She has found that this appeals to her free spirit and is where she has developed a real passion for painting – a true outlet for her self-expression and for her love of form and colour.
She joined the Rosvik Painting Cooperative in 2015 who introduced her to the legendary Robin Child, and subsequently Jonathan Ellis with whom she has done workshops on many artists, including Braque, Giacometti, Ivan Hitchens and Peter Lanyon. She works mostly in oils, painting mainly still life and the occasional landscapes; watercolour landscapes that come into their own whenever she and her husband go on their long road trips in Africa.
