Figurative Artist

Philippa has always had a passion to sketch and, as a self-taught figurative artist, she now concentrates on watercolour and pastel. 

Having lived in or near Chelsea all her life she likes to cycle around the sights of London, observing people and topical events to illustrate her own take on a subject.  Occasionally she will add a small rhyme to emphasize a narrative title to her work.

Her commissions include family gatherings as well as retail businesses and her paintings are displayed at local hotels and various London army barracks.

Philippa has been a contributing member of Chelsea Art Society since 2006.
