Penny has been painting full-time professionally for ten years after many years of teaching and painting in her spare time.  Her journey started with a ‘daily painting’ discipline, the results of which were posted and sold on her popular blog.  These days, she paints larger works, mainly from her Northamptonshire garden studio.

Penny also loves to paint en plein-air and does so with various groups in the UK.   She also runs oil painting workshops and painting holidays abroad. 

She shows regularly with the following galleries as well as with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and Royal Birmingham Society of Artists:
