Olga Brown

Olga Brown was born in Ukraine and received a MA in art and textiles from the Academy of Fine Art, Lviv, Ukraine in 1982. Since 1997 she has lived and worked in London.

Her colourful cityscapes show the chaos and energy of London and Olga’s background in textiles influences some her more figurative pieces. The paintings are a combination of figurative and abstract forms, shapes and patterns.

She won the Chelsea Art Society Agnes Reeve Award for the best painting of London (2009), First prize for the best figurative painting in Hesketh Hubbard Art Society, Mall Galleries (2012), Great Art Award at the Society of Women Artists in Mall Galleries (2016).  She exhibits extensively in galleries in the UK and abroad, including prestigious galleries such as The Mall Galleries, Cork street gallery and the Royal College of Art.
