John has lived and worked in Ceredigion, West Wales, for the past seventeen years. Inspiration comes from the light (especially sunlight!) of the Sussex Downs and coast and from the Welsh mountains and the shores of Cardigan Bay.

Born in London, John studied at the Central School of Art there, and subsequently worked as a storyboard artist for television and film production companies, but has always drawn and painted.

A member of the Chelsea Art Society, John exhibits there and Sussex, and in Wales.

Lives at Llanfair Clydogau, Ceredigion.
